Relevant injection molding experience:


*Samsonite-1990-Dec.1996. 

-Injection molder, machine operator, relief operator. 

Performed mold changes on 250-500 ton presses + Arburg machines w/part set-up, material handling.
Ran machines if needed as operator.
Provided samples for QC. Made process changes if neccessary. 
Forklift experience with both electric and propane models + saftey checks of lifts.
Performed PM's on various machines throughout company. Hazmat training.
Used hot runner systems, standard molds and insert molds. Changed out screw tips. 
Also changed molds in vertical presses.
Ran a vaccuum form machine also as operator . Major use of re-grind materials.

Same responsibilities as Samsonite + mold cleaning/light maintenance of tools-took apart/cleaned after runs.
Use of blueprints/tolerances. Removed machine screws and cleaned when neccessary. 
Did various PM's on machines/material dryers/changed dessicant.
Use of plug gages, calipers, comparator. No re-grind materials allowed.

I became an incoming quality inspector due to my injection molding experience.
Inspected plastic parts mainly with some machined parts as well to blueprint tolerances.
Use of Accuscan Lasermikes, Vision system machines + various plug gages etc. Trained in use and care of this equipment.
Vision system machines include Smartscopes + visual comparator. Intro training on CMM/Zeiss.
Panametrics Magna-Mike.
Trimos 600 and 1000 models.
Write online nonconformances w/in house program. Yearly Forklift license/training + Hazmat training.

GD&T training. Expanded role in programming vision system machines to run inspection routines + create routines.
Use of vision system machines w/touch probes. 
Perform 1st article inspections + correlation studies w/vendors for mold validations.
Assist engineers w/closing out nonconformances.

I have previous foreman experience and I also did some drafting and can weld both steel and aluminum.
